The two buildings that are pictured on the cover of Led Zeppelin’s 1975 album Physical Graffiti are just a couple of blocks from where I work. The address of the two tenements are 96 & 98 St.Mark’s Place.
Also, theres a used clothing store in the basement of one of them called (what else….) Physical Graffiti!
It’s just one of countless cool little landmarks to check out if you’re visiting NYC.

Who is the copycat? J. Crew emailed their subscribers about their new Spotlight section some time ago. But on Friday, I received this email from Spiegel. While the fonts are different, the design concept is identical. Tisk, tisk.
